Hi Everyone! My Name is Amanda Rakhra, I am an Inclusive Cosmetic & Paramedical Tattoo artist located in Canada. My mission has always to create an innovative approach to permanent makeup and to make it more inclusive - essentially being that advocate. With that being said, I wanted to share 5 facts about myself
I have been to art camp and art school, since a young child, as little as 5. Creativity and art has always been a part of my life.
My undergrad is in Social Work and I studied race inequalities within the system and how it impacts marginalized communities. Hence, why I am extremely determined to create that inclusive approach to PMU.
Instead of starting a career in Social Work (not because I didn’t want to - worked for developers/builders during my undergrad) I ended up in Commercial Real Estate. Representing companies, regionally and nationally. The informative business and financial growth strategies for these companies allowed me to create my foundation for my business.
I’m a free spirited human, who believes in the universe. Everyone eventually lives their karma. Living this way has allowed me to always be me and live freely.
My favourite colour is purple, and since a young girl I have been obsessed with the colour and used to call it plum
