Hi I’m Amy Maetche! I am the owner of Joielene Artistry. Joielene is my middle name : ) I am based in Calgary Alberta, and have been in the permanent makeup industry for over 5 years.
I began my career as a makeup artist close to 10 years ago. I have always had a passion for beauty, and making others feel confident in their own skin. I always had clients jokingly ask if I could come do their makeup every morning. Getting into PMU naturally felt like the next step for me in my career.
I love the fact that PMU can literally change someone’s life (it definitely changed my life!) The feeling of seeing clients look in the mirror at the end of the procedure and loving their new PMU brings me so much joy. The fact that they have a new sense of confidence, and that their morning routine can be so effortless is why I love what I do.
I offer ombré powder, nano and combo brows, as well as lip blush and eyeliner tattoo. Now, I train others how to perform these brow techniques, and how to build their PMU businesses.
I’ve learned that using professional quality tools makes all the difference in performing great work. This is why I invest in the best products for my clients.
